She is known for her amazing fashion sense and affinity to put together the most unexpected outfits with elan. With the help of her team, she has created a mini-blogging empire that includes high profile collaborations and a somewhat fanatic following. But even though she may be the face, she has a great support system that has elevated her blog to new heights.

I would like to introduce to you the men behind The Blonde Salad: Riccardo and Angelo. As a team, they travel in packs around the world taking the most beautiful pictures ensuring that their followers never miss out on a single moment on any social media platform. Hollywood, California Chiara from the Blonde Salad was spotted on the streets of Hollywood wearing our new florals! We love the way she made this super girly trend kind of edgy but pairing it with an oversized parka and jet black shades.

London, England This past week Christiana showcased serious spring styling skills in London. We all know bright colors are all the rage these days but what about those who aren’t ready to dress like a pack of skittles (no offense to skittles)? Christiana shows us how to brilliantly dress in neutral colors while still be on trend. She pairs a cream leather jacket with grey jeans and pop of electric blue for a look that is a great alternative for those devoted to black. Would you try this look?

Indio, California This past weekend, the most gorgeous couple in the blogging world landed in the desert for the ultimate music festival- Coachella! As official guests of DL1961, the pair along with the rest of The Blonde Salad Team were given VIP access to the grounds to get the most up close and personal experience the festival can offer. First day in Coachella thanks to DL1961: more than 50 000 people, singers from all over the world, a location in the middle of the desert and such an energic vibe. I got crazy for Radiohead, Kaskade and David Guetta performances (you have to look at the last video in the post to understand :D )

New York, New York When you live in New York and you have just gone through a harsh Winter, the beginning of Spring can really change things up— longer days, outside drinks, bicycle rides and the many surprises that can appear along the way. We decided to take advantage of the weather and have a much needed mini reunion in Tompkins Square Park this past Sunday. Decked in our Sunday casual outfits (plus Carol’s new toy: her skateboard) we spent the day lounging around the park and thanking God that summer is finally approaching!

New York, New York With Summer just around the corner we are all itching to show some skin. Since there is still a slight chill in the air in most parts of the country, some are hesitant to pull out their shorts. But we here at the Indigo Standard believe shorts are a great way to transition into Spring/Summer when worn with long sleeve knits (like shown above) and chunky sweaters. Our favorite this week is the chic white pair above that can be found here.  Pair them with nautical stripped sweaters or sheer sweaters and you will have an effortless transitional look!

New York, New York Pink pants seem to be all the rage this spring but it’s quite easy to look like a wanna Barbie in this bright hue- not a good look if you’re not a pre-teen!. So we here at the Indigo Standard have come to rescue and are proposing cool ways to wear this trendy color. After you’re done reading this you will realize how versatile this jean really is.

The Rocker: Pair with a graphic tee, Chelsea boots and wayfayers for a great casual Saturday look. We are loving tee’s from Chaser these days- especially the one featured below. 

Colorblock: Colorblocking can seem kind of daunting if you’re unfamiliar with this trend but honestly with the right color combinations you can create quite a show-stopping daytime look. It’s a great alternative to a long dress on those lazy Summer days. The trick is to stick within the same color family like the yellow top featured below from Rory Beca: 

Monochromatic: If you want to create a dressier look with your pink jeans, monochromatic is definitely the way to go. Using definitely shades of pink (preferably lighter) you can tone down this bright hue to create a romantic look perfect for a romantic summer date. We are loving this power pink blouse by T by Alexander Wang. With great gold accessories this is definitely one of our favorite looks this season. 

Layford Cay, Bahamas  One of the best things about living in New York is the accessibly to all its surroundings. For Easter weekend I hopped on a plane and in just 3 hours I landed in Paradise… The Bahamas!
